Well, I was really hyped for this game after such a long break, but Spurs Women showed they still carry the Tottenham Hotspur trait of disappointment. That’s not to say we played badly - especially in the second half - but shots, particularly on target, were hard to come by, as they have been so many times before.

Everton scored early, and although we fought back to equalise with about 15 minutes to go, just as it felt like the momentum was with us to push for a winner, Everton had other ideas. They struck again in the final 10 minutes to secure the win and move up to sixth in the league.
